Margaret Kathryn Sloan

Dr. Sloan received a Bachelor of Arts in English (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude) from Yale University in 1998 and a Doctor of Philosophy in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008. She has worked in professional development and organization of international conferences, given training workshops to executive groups in private companies, and spoken at international conferences. She has more than twenty years of teaching experience at institutions including the University of California, Endicott College, and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

KrzysztofZaremba

Krzysztof Zaremba works as an Assistant Professor in the Business Administration Department. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. His research delves into applied microeconomics, particularly concentrating on health, labor, and household economics. He investigates how policies, changes in marriage dynamics, and shifts in healthcare markets influence health outcomes, labor supply, and individual behaviors.

Felipe Brugués Rodríguez

Felipe is Assistant Professor at the Business School. He has a B.A. in Social Sciences from Amsterdam University College (The Netherlands), MSc. in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics (Spain), and a PhD. in Economics from Brown University (USA). His current research discusses topics in development economics, relying on tools from industrial organization, political economy, and finance. 

José Javier Medrano Pérez

He is currently a full-time Practice Professor and Head of the Bachelor of Management Program.

He has a Bachelor of Management degree from ITAM and a Master of Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, in the United States.

He has carried out other studies, among which the Master in Internet Business by ISDI and Boards in Action by IPADE stand out. In addition, he has numerous refresher courses at internationally renowned universities.

Cecilia María Ortiz Ahlf

Currently, Cecilia is the Chair of the Business Department and Associate Professor at ITAM.  Cecilia completed her undergraduate degree in Actuarial Sciences and MBA at ITAM. Subsequently, she completed her doctoral studies in Business Administration at Florida International University.

Janko Hernández Cortés

Professor and full-time researcher at ITAM. He has a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and a Master degree in Statistics, both from the University of Havana. He also obtained a Ph.D. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Toronto, and attended a post-doctoral program in Finance at the University of Tulane.

María Cruz Merino Sanz

Professor Merino is a full-time Professor at ITAM. Prior to her appointment at ITAM, she was a Marketing Executive at Procter & Gamble, Sanwa Bank and the Spanish Board for Foreign Trade and Investment.  Professor Merino received a degree in Business Administration and Law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (España), a Master in International Management from the ITAM and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.

Antonio Lloret Carrillo

Antonio Lloret has more than 10 years of work experience in the financial and commercial sector. He is a full-time research professor at ITAM within the Academic Division of Administration and Accounting and is part of the National System of Researchers (Level I) of CONACYT. He is part of the ITAM Center for Energy and Natural Resources where he actively participates in the dissemination, research and training in energy and sustainability issues.

Felix H. A. Matthys

Felix is currently an assistant professor at the ITAM business school. His research areas include theoretical and empirical asset pricing, term structure modelling, portfolio theory and financial economics. Felix received his doctorate in financial engineering from the University of Zurich. Before joining the ITAM faculty, he held a Post-Doc position at the Bendheim Center for finance at Princeton University.
